About me:

Hi! My name is Aidan English and I am a student at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., studying theatre with a concentration in lighting design.

While I once took to the stage in high school and community theatre productions, my focus has shifted to pursue my passion for lighting design. I have always been fascinated by how lighting can transform a production, emerging the audience and helping to support the story (and I have to admit moving lights are just the coolest).

Since coming to college, I have been active in both student theatre and university-level productions. I hope to not only design more shows but to also work as an assistant to professional designers. 

While I am not in the theatre, you can typically find me reading a book, baking, or watching planes land at a nearby airport. Notably, I have been described as “charming” on Clear-Com.
